Landscape Painting Classes

Take a painting class for fun and help support the New Art Center in Newtonville! This summer I’ll be teaching a landscape painting class in acrylic and oil paints on Tuesday mornings, 9:30 – 12:30. We’ll be outdoors as weather allows, working in urban as well as natural landscapes. I’ve been drawing, painting and sculpting for more than 50 years and teaching, drawing and painting for 20 years. As a teenager I began to study to be an illustrator where I had classical training in the fundamentals of drawing and painting realistically, which I still use in both my own work and is the basis of my teaching. After graduating from the Boston Museum School I set up a studio in Waltham, MA, where I still work.
